Cloud and Infrastructure Engineers
AWS, Azure, and GCP architects and engineers for cloud migration, infrastructure design, and managed operations. Platform-certified and experienced in enterprise governance requirements.
TEAM AUGMENTATION · STAFF AUGMENTATION
Enterprise technology projects surface skill requirements that are too specialised for a generalist hire and too temporary to justify a permanent headcount addition. DAM Networks places senior technology professionals into your team on defined engagements, skills matched to the gap, accountable to your delivery timeline.
THE PROBLEM
Enterprise technology programmes regularly surface a requirement for a specific technical skill that the current team does not have. A cloud migration needs an AWS architect for the design phase. An analytics programme needs a data engineer who knows dbt. A mobile release needs an iOS specialist for six months. These requirements are project-scoped, precise in their skill requirement and bounded in duration. A permanent hire is the wrong tool: the time to hire exceeds the window of need, and the organisation is left with a specialist hire in a skill set that the business needs intermittently rather than continuously.
Staff augmentation resolves the timing problem. A senior specialist is placed into the team within weeks, works to the project's timeline and methodology, and exits cleanly when the specific requirement is met. The internal team closes the skill gap for the project duration without carrying a permanent headcount addition into the next budget cycle.
The distinction between staff augmentation and a body-shop placement is seniority and accountability. DAM places senior professionals who contribute technically from the first week and carry clear delivery accountability, not mid-level contractors who require the same management overhead as a junior internal hire.
CAPABILITIES
AWS, Azure, and GCP architects and engineers for cloud migration, infrastructure design, and managed operations. Platform-certified and experienced in enterprise governance requirements.
Data engineers, ML engineers, and analytics engineers for pipeline development, model deployment, and data platform builds. Skills covering Python, Spark, dbt, and major cloud data services.
Backend, frontend, full-stack, and mobile engineers across major technology stacks. Available for project-specific delivery phases, integration work, and capacity uplift during high-demand periods.
CI/CD pipeline engineers, Kubernetes specialists, and platform engineers for infrastructure automation, DevOps toolchain builds, and cloud operations alongside existing engineering teams.
DAM APPROACH
DAM does not match on job title. Before a placement is proposed, DAM works with the client's technical lead to understand the specific skills required, the technology environment the professional will work in, the delivery context they will join, and the outcomes expected from the engagement. The skills brief is more precise than a job description, it identifies the exact technical capability needed and the working context in which it will be applied.
Placement speed is typically two to three weeks for profiles that are available within DAM's active network. Specialist or narrow-profile requirements take longer, the skills brief is used to set realistic timeline expectations before the engagement is confirmed. DAM does not place a profile that does not match the brief in order to meet a faster timeline.
Augmented professionals are managed by the client for delivery and by DAM for professional standards, performance review, and contract management. The client does not carry the overhead of contractor HR, compliance, or billing, DAM manages those as part of the augmentation service. The engagement can extend, reduce in scope, or close cleanly at the point the requirement is met.

WORK WITH DAM NETWORKS
DAM Networks places senior technology professionals into enterprise engineering teams for project-scoped engagements. Placements are matched to a skills brief, not a job title.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DAM's staff augmentation engagements are structured around a minimum three-month initial term. Shorter engagements are not economically viable for either party, the placement, skills matching, and onboarding investment required does not produce useful output in less than three months, and professionals placed for shorter periods are not sufficiently embedded to contribute at senior level. Engagements can extend month-by-month after the initial term, and most do, the typical augmentation engagement runs six to twelve months.
DAM manages professional performance in partnership with the client's technical lead. The client raises performance concerns to DAM's account manager, and DAM takes responsibility for addressing them, including replacement if the professional is not meeting the standards agreed in the skills brief. The client does not carry the burden of managing a contractor performance process directly. The replacement commitment is part of the augmentation service, not an exceptional escalation.
Yes, conversion to permanent employment is available after a minimum engagement period, subject to a conversion fee that reflects the placement and management investment DAM has made in the engagement. Many clients use augmentation as a structured way to evaluate a professional in a real working context before making a permanent offer, the visibility into actual performance in the specific environment is significantly more reliable than interview-based assessment alone.
