Team Composition by Requirement
Frontend, backend, full-stack, mobile, data engineering, DevOps, and QA engineers assembled to the specific technical requirements of the engagement. Team composition adjusts as the roadmap evolves.
TEAM AUGMENTATION · DEDICATED TEAM
Hiring a senior engineering team takes four to six months at minimum. A dedicated development team from DAM Networks is operational in weeks, embedded in your product organisation, working to your sprint cadence, accountable to your roadmap.
THE PROBLEM
Enterprise product and technology roadmaps are set against commercial commitments. The engineering capacity to deliver those roadmaps is built through a hiring process that competes for the same talent pool as every other organisation with a technology programme. A senior backend engineer takes three to four months to recruit, offer, and onboard. A full engineering team of six takes longer, because the later hires join an incomplete team and cannot be fully productive until the rest of the team is in place. By the time the internal team is assembled, the delivery window has narrowed and the first milestone is already under pressure.
A dedicated development team from DAM Networks addresses the timeline problem without the recruitment overhead. The team is assembled from DAM's existing pool of senior engineers, matched to the specific skills the engagement requires, and embedded in the product organisation within two to three weeks of engagement start. They work to the same sprint cadence, use the same tools, attend the same ceremonies, and carry the same delivery accountability as an internal team, without the six-month ramp time.
The model is not a short-term fix. Dedicated teams operate on rolling engagements with knowledge transfer built into the working model from the start. The client's internal team grows alongside the dedicated team, absorbing domain knowledge and codebase ownership progressively rather than at a handover point that is always more disruptive than planned.
CAPABILITIES
Frontend, backend, full-stack, mobile, data engineering, DevOps, and QA engineers assembled to the specific technical requirements of the engagement. Team composition adjusts as the roadmap evolves.
The DAM team works within the client's sprint structure, using the client's project management tools, version control, and communication platforms. No separate toolchain to manage or context gap to bridge at each meeting.
Senior engineers and tech leads who contribute to architecture decisions, code review standards, and technical direction, not only sprint delivery. The team adds thinking, not just output.
Architecture decision records, codebase documentation, and working sessions with the client's internal team built into the engagement from the first sprint, not scheduled as a final handover activity.
DAM APPROACH
Before team composition is agreed, DAM conducts a technical discovery session covering the existing codebase, the technology stack, the development workflow, and the specific skills gaps the engagement needs to close. The discovery determines which engineering profiles the engagement requires and in what sequence, the team is assembled to address the bottleneck in the delivery pipeline, not to match a generic headcount request.
Onboarding is structured and fast. DAM engineers join with a defined first-week plan that covers the codebase, the deployment process, the testing standards, and the team communication norms. By the end of the second sprint, the DAM team is contributing at full velocity. The client does not carry three months of reduced productivity while a new team member comes up to speed.
Engagement reviews are conducted quarterly. The review covers delivery velocity, code quality metrics, roadmap progress, and team composition against the current delivery requirements. The team scales up or adjusts in composition as the roadmap demands, the engagement is not fixed to the headcount agreed at the outset.

WORK WITH DAM NETWORKS
DAM Networks provides dedicated development teams for enterprise product organisations. Teams are operational within two to three weeks of engagement start, not after a six-month hiring cycle.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The client manages the delivery backlog and sprint priorities, what the team builds and in what order. DAM manages the team's operational performance, how well they deliver, their code quality, their working norms, and their professional development. This division makes the team feel indistinguishable from an internal team to the product organisation while ensuring that engineering standards and team health are maintained without adding management overhead to the client's side.
All code produced in the engagement belongs to the client from the first commit. Documentation, architecture decision records, and knowledge transfer sessions are built into the engagement model, not added at the end. Engagement wind-downs are planned with a minimum 90-day notice period so that knowledge transfer can be completed without a gap in delivery velocity. The goal is for the client's internal team to own the codebase with full context, not to discover what the dedicated team built when they are no longer available to explain it.
For most engagements, the first engineers are embedded within two weeks of engagement agreement. Full team deployment at the agreed composition typically takes two to three weeks. The timeline depends on the seniority and specialisation profile required, common full-stack and backend profiles are available quickly; highly specialised profiles such as embedded systems or niche platform expertise take longer to match. The technical discovery conducted before engagement start determines the required profile in advance so that team assembly does not begin with an underspecified brief.
